Light in the Log Cabin window

This was my first, really quilt. It was from Marcia McClosky and the blue and yellow just called to me. I love this quilt. I machine embroidered the blocks and had the rest quilted. Learned to get a price before you have your quilt quilted on this one. Theresa Morales of UNI Quilts does mine now and I think she does a really good job at a fair price.

Your log cabin is georgous, Judi.

I made one from Judy Martins new book called Kentucky Log cabin. There's a picture on my blog down a bit. They are fun to make.

Hi Judi,
Love your blue and yellow log cabin. You do lovely embroidery work also. I just finished a blue & yellow Doube Irish Chain for a customer's new grandson.

So fun to see lots of pics on your blog! I am new to blogging too but have found that the blogs I love the most also have alot of pics on them. I've even started keeping my camera in the sewing room now....LOL!

The machine embroidery is just lovely Judi. I haven't sent anything of mine to be quilted because it seems to be so expensive in the UK. So I do a mixture of hand quilting and machine quilting bits at a time. Seems to work.

You were going to show me dark blue/teals for the OC.
